Everything Everywhere All At Once lidera las nominaciones del Seattle Film Critics Society 2022

Esta mañana, la agrupación Seattle Film Critics Society (SFCS por sus siglas en inglés), a la cual orgullosamente pertenecemos, dio a conocer sus nominaciones a lo mejor del año fílmico 2022. La cinta de multiversos Everything Everywhere All At Once (Todo en Todas Partes al Mismo Tiempo) lidera el listado con un total de 14 menciones, entre ellas Mejor Película, Mejor Actriz (Michelle Yeoh), Mejor Actor de Reparto (Ke Huy Quan) y Mejor Director para Daniel Kwan y Daniel Scheinert, conocidos también como Daniels.

The Banshees of Inisherin (Los Espíritus de la Isla), la tragicomedia escrita y dirigida por Martin McDonagh, le siguió con 9 nominaciones, incluyendo menciones para sus cuatro estrellas: Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Barry Keoghan y Kerry Condon, además de Mejor Reparto, Guion, Director y Película.

Uno de los más grandes blockbusters del año, Top Gun: Maverick, obtuvo 8 nominaciones, entre las que destacan Mejor Película, Director (Joseph Kosinski), Coreografía de Acción y Mejor Actor para Tom Cruise. Nope (¡Nop!) y Tár consiguieron un total de 6 menciones respectivamente, mientras que Aftersun y Decision to Leave (La Decisión de Partir) empataron con 5 nominaciones cada una. Todas ellas se disputarán también el premio máximo a lo mejor del 2022 junto a Cha Cha Real Smooth (Cha Cha ¡A Bailar!), The Fabelmans (Los Fabelman) y Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (Glass Onion: Un Misterio de Knives Out).

Este año, el SFCS ha introducido una nueva categoría, Producción del Pacífico Noroeste, la cual celebra y reconoce a las cintas realizadas en el noroeste de los Estados Unidos, o bien, que tengan alguna conexión cercana con dicha región. All Sorts, Kimi, Know Your Place, y los documentales Sam Now y Sweetheart Deal inauguran esta novel terna.

Los ganadores serán anunciados el próximo martes 17 de enero del 2023 a partir de las 9am, hora Pacífico, a través de las redes sociales del Seattle Film Critics Society.
